The Coventry Elephantastic

Together, at a Community Big Draw event as part of the Earlsdon Festival, around 200 people drew their own re-inventions of the elephant - to make the Coventry Elephantastic.

A new animal symbol for Coventry. You can see a time-lapse here.

Neuroscientists from the University of Warwick joined the event, linking their research on memory to the notion that elephants never forget. They brought images of elephant brains, microscopes and models of the human brain to Earlsdon library and were kept busy all day answering questions.
